The Rejects play the classic tunes from the 50's to the 70's, featuring drums, keyboards, bass & lead guitar, and of course, two kazoos for the horn section. Now starting our 26th year together, with our second CD about to debut - which will include 10 original 60's style tunes. What has made our band so popular for so many years is our unique combination of audience participation, zany fun, great dance music & harmonies, and our hot female singer with a "knock-em dead voice", "Betty". We're the best band you've never heard! yours kazooly, Dr. Humm

Our DKMB is made up of adults, children, dogs and some CP children. We perform at the Manzanita 4th of July parade on the Oregon coast and for the Quest, a fund raiser benefiting women's health this year on May 17th. We number about 30 plus and are led by a 150 lb drum major sporting a red white & blue chef's hat whelding a 4' wooden spoon as the baton. Our choriagraphed moves are designed to be the anthisis of coordination and anyone seen looking sober is automaticly banished. DKMB stands for Daverts Marching Kazoo Band made up of introverts, extroverts and a pervert.

I teach elementary music to approximately 475 students grades 1-4. I started a kazoo band last year at ther urging of my building principalfor grades 1 & 2. The band has been a huge hit in our community. We have approximately 200 students now participating in the kazoo band. We have been in two parades and have been requested to play at the senior citizen's center and at a relator's luncheon here in town. We have made the paper countless times and even won a trophy at the Santa Claus Lane parade in our town. We love our kazoo's and the town loves to hear us play them!!!!!
