We have 17 kazooers and we all improvise throughout our show. Last performance we broke our personal attendance record with a overwhelmin crowd of 20 kazoo faithfuls. All of which were relatives of band members. We all currently attend the mental retardation facility in Altoona, Pennsylvania. We would like to join Rick Hubbard's Kazoo band in the future. Our youngest member is 13, but we all have the mentality of 3rd graders so we are normally considered kids. Thanks Rick Hubbard for inspiring me to follow my dweams.

Our performance happens once a year during the homecoming parade for Tennessee Tech University. We are all members of the fraternity Phi Gamma Delta. It is a yearly tradition where we all get dressed up and more or less run to every camera that we see. VERY Fun and very exhausting.

Originally we had the kazoos as to substitute for a horn section, however since we have refused to trade them for horns. We have one lead kazooist and two back up kazooists. We've performed twice as a kind of novelty punk/kazoo band if you will at a summer camp we go to. At the last show we distributed 45 kazoos to members of the audience who then played them for the duration of our stay at camp. We aren't a band in the sense that we play "gigs" a lot or anything, but we have fun.

I play in the All Broads Kazoo Band. Almost 40 of us broads march and play in the 4th of July parade, doing precision? drills as we play. We dress in red, white and blue costumes of our choice. Look for us next year.

a few of my friends and i have a kazoo band called FIVE MONKEYS IN A PUDDLE. we all have numbers, but all i can remember of that is that i am monkey #5. catie, kathryn, lauren, and caren are monkeys #1-4. and steph is our manager. kazoo bands aren't big around here, but we're doing our best. we havn't had TOO many gigs YET, but thats only cause every time we get together and try to play, somebody (usually me) forgets their instrument. we're in the process of creating a web page, so we'll get back to you all once we all write our bios and its up and running. once, i saw these really awesome kazoos in cooperstown, ny. they were like the original metal ones with half painted red. i wanted to buy my fellow monkeys presents, but they only had four left, so i skipped all together. do you know how hard it is to find a good kazoo these days? FIVE MONKEYS is getting by with these plastic things that sound best when you play them backwards, you know, cause money's tight when your in a kazoo band. but if your in the area, email me and maybe our kazoo bands could do a joint performance!! have fun!

My kazoo band is the best kazoo band in all the land. We have played many gigs. Every Christmas we have a christmas a big christmas party with my band starring in it. We have to backup kazooists and one kazooist higher than the back ups, a harmonica player, an electric violinist, a bongo drumer, and me the lead kazooist.

Each year the weekend after the fourth of July, we have Summerfest (Folk and Bluegrass festival) in Carthage, Missouri. One of the highlights is the Saturday workshop on kazooing, followed by the annual performance of the MIGHTY SUMMERFEST KAZOO BAND. We include children from 1 to 99 years old - we're all children, thank goodness! It is terriffic, as is the entire festival.

1972 November -- 1st Annual Turkey Day Lighting Ceremony -- On the Campus of St. Michael's College, Winnoski, VT. The first performance of the "101 International Silver String Kazoo Band (minus 94)" Made its debut. It was a snowy vermont evening. We played with gusto or was it miller? The audience watched from their dorm windows as the cardboard turkey outlined in xmas lights was lit (as were many members of the band and audience). "Dr." D. Norman Lamoureax was at the baton. I played 1st Kazoo. Kazoomaster if you will. Chicks dig Kazoo Players!

MY KAZOO BAND WAS ORGANIZED IN 1997 AT THE UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND SPIDER FOOTBALL GAMES IN AN EFFORT TO SPARK ENTHUSIASM AT OUR HOME FOOTBALL GAMES. AT PRESENT WE HAVE A TOTAL OF SEVEN LOYAL MEMBERS. WE GENERALLY GIVE AWAY A FREE KAZOO EACH GAME TO A SPECTATOR WHO DEMONSTRATES A VERY HIGH DEGREE OF ENTHUSIASM AND SCHOOL SPIRIT.
